Five epic rides. One full recovery day at SilvaSpa. 7,500 meters of total climbing designed to separate true cyclists from weekend riders.
Campocatino (1,815 m), Monte Scalambra (1,330 m), Monte Livata (1,900 m): legendary climbs featured in the Giro d’Italia and Tirreno–Adriatico begin here, in Fiuggi, at 700 meters above sea level.
This is not a cycling holiday.
This is a training week with purpose.
Why Fiuggi — for riders who want real elevation
At 700 meters altitude, Fiuggi is not just a destination — it’s a strategic performance base. The Apennines rise directly from here, offering long, uninterrupted climbs with serious gradients: Campocatino, Monte Scalambra, Campo Staffi, Monte Livata.
These are roads professionals know well. Terrain where races have been decided.
Expect sustained gradients between 8% and 12%, ramps touching 15%, minimal traffic, and smooth asphalt. Pure climbing. No distractions.
Ride to the Certosa di Trisulti: 80 km and 1,500 meters of elevation gain ending at a 13th-century monastery suspended in silence.
Spin through medieval towns for active recovery.
Conquer Monte Livata — 90 km and 1,900 meters — the queen stage of the week.
Ciociaria doesn’t market itself as a cycling playground. You come here because you understand the value of hard terrain.
There’s no photographer waiting at the switchbacks. No support van following you.
You return to the hotel with empty legs, step into 34°C thermal water, and let recovery begin.
Your body resets. Your energy returns.
The Chef prepares exactly what you need to fuel the next ride.
Then you do it again. Five times in seven days.
